Making BDA apartment communities more EV-ready with accessible charging infrastructure and a limited-period free charging offer
As electric vehicle adoption grows, access to convenient charging infrastructure is becoming an important requirement for apartment communities. Recognising this emerging need, the BDA Apartment Owners Forum has collaborated with Kazam to facilitate EV charging infrastructure for interested BDA apartment communities.
The initiative aims to help BDA apartments explore community-level EV charging infrastructure without the need for an upfront investment in the charging device, subject to site feasibility and the applicable terms.
What is being offered?
Under the current offering, Kazam is providing a 3.3 kW EV charging infrastructure solution for BDA apartment communities.
The offering includes:
- 3.3 kW EV charger
- Installation support with up to 30 metres of cabling
- PVC pipe installation
- Installation materials such as cable, MCB and DB box
- Installation and commissioning support
- Maintenance and service
- Customer support
- Mobile app and dashboard for charging and energy monitoring
How will it work?
Interested BDA apartment communities can submit their details through the application form. The information will help the service provider understand the apartment’s requirements and take the discussion forward.
Following the application, the installation will be subject to site assessment, technical feasibility, infrastructure requirements and necessary permissions.
